Below is a list of total services in which ASC provides. Ideally we would like to offer students an opportunity to became members of our Academy, in which they would receive these services at a fraction of the cost they would normally pay for them Ala’ Cart. Although we do provide Ala’Cart service as well for students that could just utilize specific service from ASC. ALL services will be purchased through Pay Pal and displayed as a “on-line shopping mall” format (Coming Soon). |

COLLEGE PREP SERVICES |

Transcript Evaluation – by ASC staff to determine how to keep the student on-track for middle school, high school graduations, and College Admission. Grades and subject credits evaluated quarterly.

SAT Prep – Discounts and Information on workshops on taking the SAT as well PSAT prep on quarterly basis to prepare-early for college entry testing.

Personal Statement Assistance – early preparation and training in writing a personal statement essay for college admission. ASC staff monitor student’s writing and literacy ability to ensure college quality writing skills.

Admission Application Assistance – ASC staff assist student and parent(s) to fill out forms and meet application deadlines for college admission.

Scholarship Research – online database updated daily for new scholarship and grant opportunities for students. Graduating high school seniors receive one-on-one assistance with college search, applications, personal statements, financial aid, college basics 101.

College Tours – ASC offers customized college tours throughout the year. Only active and engaged students may attend these tours.

Community Service – student to complete quarterly volunteer hours in preparation for high school graduation community service requirements. ASC has opportunities for student to participate in community projects.

Financial Aid Assistance – high school junior and senior students and parents receive one-on-one assistance filling out financial aid assistance applications and forms.

BASIC STUDENT SERVICES |

Student File – confidential individual student/parent personal information required for each participant. |

Student Web Profile – information on the student’s academic and athletic achievements goals available for the student to access with password. |

Email Updates – email blasts directed to student and parent(s) on daily basis i.e. resource links, community events, college prep info, scholarship info etc. |

Student Advocacy – Parents are coached by ASC staff on how to prepare for Parent/Teacher conferences, and IEP meetings.

Progress Notes – tutors will collect Progress Reports from each of the student’s teachers, review with the parent(s) and set a workable course for success. |
